What is Greentally Platform?
Greentally Platform is carbon accounting and ESG software for sustainability consultants and in-house teams. It calculates Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions to the GHG Protocol from bills and invoices, checks suppliers for ESG risk, tracks energy and utility bills, and produces GHG Protocol, VSME and management reports. It costs €99 a month.
How much does Greentally Platform cost?
€99 a month, excluding VAT. A free trial is available on request. If you want our team to do the work for you, the done-for-you ESG Partner service starts at €490 a month and a one-off Carbon Report starts at €990.
Which standards does Greentally follow?
Emissions are calculated to the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard, across Scope 1, 2 and 3. Reports can be produced in GHG Protocol format, as a VSME sustainability report for SMEs (the EU voluntary standard), or as a management report.
Which emission factors does Greentally use?
Greentally Factorbase draws on SEAI, DESNZ/DEFRA, ecoinvent, IEA, EXIOBASE, CEDA and the AIB residual mix, matched to the country of each site. Every factor is traceable, and teams can manage their own factor libraries.
Can consultants manage several clients in Greentally?
Yes. Each client gets its own workspace with separate data, sites and reports, and a cross-client overview shows which clients need attention. Reports can be written in a consultant or executive tone.
How do suppliers share their data?
Through a supplier portal. You send a link by email; the supplier answers a short questionnaire without creating an account, including allocated emissions, product footprints, electricity contracts, SBTi status and evidence files. You review each submission before it replaces estimates in your Scope 3.
Does Greentally invent data when something is missing?
No. Missing bills and documents are flagged and requested. Supplier risk findings show where each answer came from: web sources, an offline dataset, model knowledge, or not researched.
Can an auditor review the numbers?
Yes. Every emission line links back to the document it came from, periods can be closed, and auditors can be given read-only access.
