Privacy policy

This policy explains how we handle your personal data when you join the Finjourney waitlist on greentally.ai. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Who we are

The data controller is GreenTally Climate Tech Ltd, trading as Greentally, a company registered in Ireland under CRO number 777803, with its registered office at National College of Ireland, Mayor Street Lower, IFSC, Dublin 1, D01 K7W8.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we store:

• Your email address — the one you type into the form.
• Sign-up type — whether you joined as a business or as an accounting firm (firm pilot).
• Source — which form you used on the page (hero, pricing or final call to action).
• Timestamp — when you signed up.
• Browser user agent — a short technical string describing your browser (first 200 characters), used to detect abuse and spam.
• A record of your consent — the fact that you agreed and the wording shown next to the form.

We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies on this website.

Why we use it

We use your data only to send you communications about the launch of Finjourney: confirming your place, letting you know when doors open and inviting you in, in the order people joined. We will not send unrelated marketing and we never sell your data.

Lawful basis

We rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us or by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before.

Where your data is stored

Waitlist entries are stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), provided by Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC as our processor. The database is hosted in the European Union (europe-west1, Belgium). Where Google may access data from outside the EEA, transfers are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

The website itself is served by Firebase Hosting. Like any web server, it processes your IP address to deliver pages; we do not store it in the waitlist.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist entry until 12 months after launch, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. If you become a customer, your account is covered by a separate privacy notice.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have it corrected or deleted;
• restrict or object to its processing;
• receive it in a portable format;
• withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email ning@greentally.ai. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission (Ireland), 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28 — www.dataprotection.ie.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above. If the change is significant, we will tell waitlist members by email.
